Overview
Virocid is a powerful, broad-spectrum disinfectant that can be safely used on all surfaces in agricultural settings. It has been rigorously tested against over 100 pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, molds, and yeasts. When diluted, Virocid has a neutral pH, making it non-corrosive and suitable for use on any surface without risk of damage. It can be applied for surface disinfection, dip disinfection, and both hot and cold fogging methods.
In agriculture, Virocid is ideal for disinfecting livestock areas, equipment, and machinery. It leaves no residue, does not harm surfaces, and does not require rinsing after application. However, avoid spraying directly on electronics.
Usage Instructions
For optimal results, surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a suitable detergent before applying Virocid, as disinfecting without prior cleaning is ineffective. For the best effect and prolonged contact time, apply Virocid as a foam using a low-pressure foam injector. This method ensures easy visibility of treated areas. For dip disinfection of equipment, a minimum contact time of 30 minutes is recommended.
Application
For general agricultural use, prepare a 0.5-1% solution with a contact time of 15-30 minutes.
Apply approximately 0.4 liters of the diluted solution per square meter.
For fogging disinfection (per 1000 m³):
Hot fogging: Mix 1-2 liters of Virocid with 3 liters of water.
Cold fogging: Mix 1-2 liters of Virocid with 10 liters of water.
Ensure the area is completely sealed before fogging. Fogging disinfection should only be performed in empty buildings with no humans or animals present.
